Inspiration for patterns can be found most anywhere–nature, architecture, the fine art world. But for our studio manager, Chelsea, nothing inspires her quite like vintage fabrics. The time and care that artists of the past put into developing beautiful motifs and repeats can seem like a lost art in this day and age of digital design, which is why Chelsea likes to begin her design process with sketches and doodles done away from the glare of the computer screen.
